Your eyes can say a thousand words. So can your dark circles. Here are a few home remedies to help with this problem:
- Tomatoes have so many benefits so this one is no surprise. Mix one teaspoon of tomato juice with half a teaspoon of lemon juice. Gently apply this mixture on the dark circles and let it stay on for 10-15 minutes. Rinse it off with water. Follow this remedy twice a day for a few weeks to get result
- Apply a soaked green teabag. Green tea which is rich in antioxidants helps reduce puffiness, fast! Just dip the teabags in hot water and let them stay there for 5 minutes. Remove and place them in the freezer. Once cold, lie down and press the tea bags onto your eyes for about 15 minutes. Rinse your eyes with cold water and pat dry.
- Almond oil massages are a great way to get rid of dark circles and add some shine to your face. Take a few drops of almond oil, apply it under your eyes and over lids and rub them slowly for 10 minutes. Results start showing after one application.
- Rose water does wonders for the skin. Just add some glycerin to a spray bottle with rose water in it and spray after washing your face. This moisturizes and revitalizes the skin besides having a soothing effect on tired eyes.
